These Terms of Service will be updated over time. By creating an account, you accept not only the current version but also future versions as described in Section 11. You will be notified of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before registering for or using www.seiexam.com (the “Platform”), operated by Success Educational Institute LLC (“SEI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a program, or accessing any content, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms — including the living-document framework in Section 11, which means you also agree to future updates as described therein.
1. Eligibility
To register for and use our services:
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must be a human individual — automated registrations are not permitted.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
- You must have legal capacity to enter a binding contract.
- You must have authority to make purchases using the payment method you provide.

SEI may update eligibility requirements in future versions of these Terms (for example, if we add programs with different prerequisites or expand to new jurisdictions). Changes will be communicated as described in Section 11.
2. Account registration and security
2.1 Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep it updated. False or misleading information may result in immediate account termination.
2.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials — your password, and, if you sign in with Google or Microsoft, the security of those third-party accounts. You agree to:
- Use a strong, unique password.
- Not share your login credentials with any other person.
- Not allow third parties to access your account or program content.
- Notify us immediately at SEIExams@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
2.3 One account per person
Each registration is for a single individual. Multiple accounts for the same person, or shared accounts, are a violation of these Terms and may result in termination without refund.
3. Program access and license
3.1 License grant
Upon purchasing a program, SEI grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the purchased content — including practice exams, feedback reports, videos, and documents (“Course Materials”) — solely for your personal FE or PE exam preparation during the access period.
3.2 Access period and extensions
Each purchase grants access for the duration listed on the program page at the time of purchase. Access ends automatically when the period expires. Where offered, you may purchase access extensions; each extension adds the listed number of days to your existing access deadline.

Access period lengths and extension terms are subject to change for future purchases. Changes do not affect access periods already purchased. The terms applicable to your purchase are those displayed at the time of your transaction.
3.3 Prohibited conduct
You agree that you will NOT copy, share, screen-record, photograph, redistribute, or commercially use any Course Materials (including practice-exam questions and solutions); share login credentials or signed content links; allow others to access your account; use automated tools to scrape the Platform; or circumvent any security measure, watermark, or exam-integrity control. Full detail is provided in SEI’s Copyright & Content Use Agreement, presented in your student portal, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
4. Intellectual property
All Course Materials are the exclusive intellectual property of SEI and are protected by U.S. copyright law. Your purchase grants only the limited personal license described in Section 3.1. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by SEI. Full terms are set out in SEI’s Copyright & Content Use Agreement, which you must accept before accessing program content.
SEI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to NCEES. The FE and PE exam names are trademarks of NCEES.
5. Payments and refunds
5.1 Pricing
Program prices, access periods, and extension prices are listed on each program page at the time of purchase.

Prices and access periods are subject to change at any time for future purchases. Changes do not affect purchases already completed. SEI is not obligated to offer the same pricing to existing customers as to new customers.
5.2 Payment processing
All payments are processed by Stripe. SEI does not store full payment card details.

SEI may change its payment processing provider at any time. Any new provider will be disclosed in updated versions of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The core commitment — that SEI does not store your card details — will remain.
5.3 Refund policy
Purchases are governed by SEI’s Refund Policy, which you acknowledge at the time of each purchase and which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: no refunds are issued once program content has been accessed; refund eligibility is strictly limited to verified billing errors, must be requested within 7 days of purchase and before more than 30% of the purchased content has been accessed, and approved refunds are subject to a 5% non-refundable service fee. Notice — refund policy may change
The Refund Policy may be updated in future versions. Changes apply only to purchases made after the effective date of the update. The refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase — recorded with your order — governs your transaction.
6. Disclaimers
6.1 No guarantee of exam results
SEI MAKES NO GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT USE OF THE PLATFORM WILL RESULT IN PASSING THE FE OR PE EXAM. Exam outcomes depend on individual effort, preparation, and performance.
6.2 Content accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep content current with NCEES exam specifications. SEI is not liable for inaccuracies arising from NCEES updates made after our last content revision.
Notice — NCEES exam formats change
NCEES periodically updates FE and PE exam specifications, reference materials, and formats. SEI will make commercially reasonable efforts to update content in response, but cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most current NCEES specification at all times.
6.3 Platform availability
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. SEI is not liable for service interruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, or third-party outages.

SEI may add, modify, or discontinue platform features, tools, or programs at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of discontinuation of paid features. New features may be governed by supplemental terms disclosed at the time of introduction.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SEI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST EXAM FEES, LOST INCOME, OR LOST PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SEI IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
8. Privacy and data collection
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Both documents are living documents that will be updated over time. See Section 11 below and Section 13 of the Privacy Policy for how changes are governed.
9. Account termination
9.1 Termination by you
You may close your account at any time by contacting SEIExams@gmail.com. See Section 11.5 for your right to close your account before material changes to these Terms take effect.
9.2 Termination by SEI
SEI may suspend or terminate your account without notice for violation of these Terms, credential sharing, fraudulent activity, or distributing Course Materials. Terminated accounts are not entitled to a refund.
10. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You and SEI agree to individual-only arbitration — no class actions.
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court to prevent unauthorized use or distribution of proprietary Course Materials.
Notice — dispute resolution terms may change
SEI may update the dispute resolution provisions of these Terms, including the arbitration clause, in future versions. Updated dispute resolution terms apply only to disputes arising after the effective date of the updated Terms. Disputes arising before that date are governed by the version in effect at the time the dispute arose.
11. Changes to these Terms — living document
Important: this is a living document
These Terms of Service will be updated over time as our platform grows, applicable laws change, or our business practices evolve. By registering for an account, you acknowledge and accept that this document will change and that your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the then-current version.
11.1 Your agreement to future updates
When you create an account on the Platform, you agree not only to the current version of these Terms but also to the process by which they will be updated. Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:
- SEI may update, modify, or replace any provision of these Terms at any time, for any reason, including changes in applicable law, the services we offer, or our business operations.
- Updates are effective upon posting to the Platform, unless a later effective date is specified.
- Your continued use of the Platform after an update is posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised document, even if you have not read it.
- If you do not agree to an updated version, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform and close your account as described in Section 9.
11.2 How we will notify you of changes
- Non-material changes — minor updates such as correcting typographical errors, clarifying existing language, or updating contact information. These may be made at any time without direct notification.
- Material changes — updates that meaningfully alter your rights or the core terms of our relationship. For these we will post a prominent notice on the Platform with a new effective date and email your registered address at least 30 days before the change takes effect, where practicable.
11.3 Relationship to the Privacy Policy
Data-related commitments — including data retention periods and how retention changes are applied — are governed by the Privacy Policy (see its Sections 6 and 13.3), not by these Terms. Where these Terms and the Privacy Policy address the same data practice, the Privacy Policy controls.
11.4 Changes that require fresh consent
Certain changes always require your fresh, affirmative opt-in consent, as listed in Section 13.4 of the Privacy Policy (for example, selling personal data or collecting sensitive data categories). If you decline, your existing data will be handled under the prior policy terms.
11.5 Your right to close your account before changes take effect
If you receive a notice of a material change and do not wish to be bound by the updated terms, you may close your account before the stated effective date by contacting SEIExams@gmail.com. Account closure before a change takes effect means the prior version of this document governs your relationship with SEI up to closure. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund outside the window stated in the Refund Policy.
11.6 Version history
The version of these Terms currently in effect is always the version posted at www.seiexam.com/terms. The effective date at the top of this document indicates when the current version took effect. If you have questions about what has changed between versions, contact us at SEIExams@gmail.com and we will provide a summary of material changes.

- You will receive 30 days’ notice of material changes by email.
- Continued use after changes = acceptance of the new version.
- Changes requiring fresh consent are listed in the Privacy Policy and will always be asked explicitly.
- If you disagree, you can close your account before the change takes effect.
12. General provisions
12.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and the Copyright & Content Use Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and SEI regarding your use of the Platform.
12.2 Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
12.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
12.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. SEI may assign these Terms without restriction.
12.5 Force majeure
SEI is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, or government actions.
